Who I Am
Hi, I’m Katherine.
I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over eight years of experience working with children and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder. My work is grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), but at its core, what I care most about is helping people develop meaningful, practical skills that improve everyday life.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas Tech University, where I focused on Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children between the ages of 2 and 18 while collaborating closely with families, therapists, and clinical teams. My work has centered on developing individualized treatment plans, conducting behavioral assessments, and mentoring clinical staff to ensure that each child receives thoughtful, high-quality, evidence-based care. I believe effective ABA should always be compassionate, ethical, and tailored to the unique strengths and needs of each individual.
Through my consulting work with Evidence Based Behavior Consulting, I strive to make the principles of applied behavior analysis practical, accessible, and empowering for families both within and beyond the autism community. By focusing on education, prevention, and collaboration, I aim to help parents better understand how behavior works and feel confident using evidence-based strategies in their everyday lives.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two-year-old son, and our two dogs. As a family, we love going to a drive-in movie, spending time outdoors in the sun, watching sports, and reading together.
